Manuals and firmware for X-Bows keyboards

Looking for the manual or firmware for your X-Bows keyboard? X-Bows has a central download hub with setup guides, firmware and configuration for each model. In this article you'll find out where to find it.

Where do I find the downloads?

All X-Bows manuals and firmware are on one page:

View manuals on x-bows.com

Choose your model there to navigate to the correct setup guides, firmware and configuration.

For which products?

X-Bows offers downloads for, among others:

  • X-Bows Knight (classic ergonomic mechanical)
  • X-Bows Knight-Plus (Knight with numeric keypad)
  • X-Bows Crystal (full acrylic ergonomic design)
  • X-Bows Nature (ergonomic with standard layout)
  • X-Bows Lite (compact and portable)

Two configuration systems

X-Bows uses two different systems, depending on your model:

QMK firmware with VIA Configurator: for most X-Bows keyboards (Knight, Knight-Plus, Nature). VIA is a web app that lets you remap keys without installing anything. No separate driver needed.

Proprietary driver software: for the X-Bows Lite. This model has its own configuration tool that you install separately.

X-Bows Crystal has a web-based configurator with no installation required.

Firmware update via QMK Toolbox

To update firmware on QMK models, you'll need QMK Toolbox. The download link and instructions are on the X-Bows page.

Caution: incorrect firmware can render your keyboard unusable. Follow the instructions carefully and use the correct firmware for your model.

Documentation is in English
