When ordering on account, we perform a brief verification. In this article, you'll see what we check for, so you know what to expect and how to ensure a smooth process.
What do we check?
After you place your order, we perform a brief check. We look at, among other things, whether:
- The shipping address is a business address (not a residential property)
- The shipping address matches the registered address at the Chamber of Commerce
- There is an active website and a corresponding email address used for the order
- There is a business premises and demonstrable recent activity from the company
Why this check?
Ordering on account means we're providing the product upfront. We want to be sure the order comes from an established business. This also protects you against misuse of business data.
Insufficient verification?
Unable to confirm enough verification points? Then we'll ask you to pay for the first order upfront. After a successful first delivery, ordering on account is often possible for subsequent orders.
What information helps?
When placing your order, you can proactively provide this information:
- Chamber of Commerce number
- Business email address that matches your website
- Shipping address that corresponds with your Chamber of Commerce registered address
This way, verification runs smoothly and you'll receive your order faster.
Verification does not suspend payment terms
A verification request or ongoing check does not mean the payment terms are extended. The 30-day payment term from the invoice date remains in effect.
These terms apply to business customers ordering on account through Ergowerken.
