My product shows signs of use, can I still return it?
Yes, you can, but it may affect the refund you receive. In this article, you'll learn how we handle signs of use.
What counts as signs of use?
Marks that result from intensive or prolonged use. Think of wear, scratches, stains, or visibly worn spots. Scratches on the underside of a mouse are also considered product damage.
Refund for signs of use
If signs of use are present, we credit a maximum of 50% of the purchase price.
How to prevent signs of use?
- Keep the product in its original packaging if you're uncertain about your purchase
- Remove rings and bracelets when using products you hold in your hands, such as a mouse, keyboard, or wrist rest (jewelry can cause scratches)
- Don't apply hand cream just before handling the product, as it can damage the coating
- Store the product in a safe place, especially if others may have access to it

Send a photo to klantenservice@ergowerken.nl, and we can often assess from a distance whether the return will be approved or not. This way you avoid surprises.
This information applies to returns within the 90-day inspection period from the Netherlands and Belgium.
