What should I look for when making a warranty claim?

Filing a warranty claim is straightforward, but there are a few things to keep in mind. This article covers the key points so your claim goes smoothly.

Return the complete product

Send the product back in full. Don't forget any accessories or loose parts, such as:

  • The dongle for a wireless mouse
  • Original cables and chargers
  • Any remote controls or mounting materials

A missing part can delay the assessment.

A double-check never hurts

Before you file a claim, check the following:

  • Is it really not working? Sometimes reconnecting, replacing the battery, or a restart is all it takes
  • Did you follow the instructions? A product page or help center article can often provide clarity
  • Unsure? Send us a message, and we can often help troubleshoot remotely

Processing fee for non-defective items

If it turns out a product is not faulty, we charge €15 for processing costs. A double-check before you send it avoids disappointment.

Package size for Belgium

For warranty returns from Belgium, there is a specific limit: maximum 120 x 60 x 60 cm and 23 kg. Does your product not fit? Contact us first via klantenservice@ergowerken.nl.

What is not covered by warranty?

  • Damage caused by user (for example, a dropped mouse with a broken button)
  • Normal wear and tear of wear-prone parts (see the article about wear parts)
  • Misuse that deviates from the manufacturer's instructions

Do I need a warranty claim or a return?

Two different options:

  • Warranty return: product is defective or does not work as intended
  • Return within inspection period: product works fine, but you don't want to keep it

Unsure? Get in touch, and we'll help you figure it out.
